Biography
Kevin's journey into the world of magic started back in 2005 on the hugely popular reality show 'Faking It'. The show took the mild mannered scientist and challenged him to quickly become a magician and see if he could fool a number of magicians including the legendary Paul Daniels. Kevin successfully completed the challenge and the show was watched by an audience of nearly seven million.
After the show Kevin felt that he had found his calling in life and set out to become a full time magician. He trained with some of the finest magicians and was even flown out to Las Vegas for a masterclass with Penn and Teller. Since that time, Kevin has gone on to become one of the UK's most sought after magicians.
Kevin has performed many runs at the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His sell-out, comedy-magic shows have received many acclaims and resulted in a UK tour. He has worked on other shows with the BBC and Channel 4 and recently appeared, alongside Jimmy Carr and Derren Brown, in '4talent' – a book produced by Channel 4 about the top forty, fresh and innovative talents in the UK.
Kevin is also the founder and Aritistic Director of the Edinburgh International Magic Festival, Scotland's largest magic event. Founded in 2010 the event has already doubled in size with audiences of over 5000 people annually attending shows from the most amazing magicians from all over the world.
