80's party band Rubix take you back to the decade of leg warmers and shoulder pads. Based in London but performing Nationally and Internationally, Rubix brings you a high energy show which features all the classic hits of the 80's.
Biography
Rubix features the members from one of the UK's leading Abba Tribute Bands 'Abba Magic'. Formed back in 1994 they were soon recognised as one of the top Abba tribute bands in the UK.
With the popularity of the 80's ever increasing, the band have now formed Rubix...The Ultimate 80's Experience.
The band features four highly talented musicians each of whom has performed extensively at parties and events across the world and the band performing as 'Abba Magic' were even chosen to perform at the London premiere of the hit musical MAMMA MIA which was attended by Benny and Bjorn themselves and broadcast live to millions on prime-time TV.
Rubix brings you a show which features outstanding musicianship, stunning vocals, eye-popping costumes and amazing dance moves.
The show includes some of the greatest hits of the 80's from the likes of Duran Duran, A-ha, Eurythmics, Yazoo, Madonna, Blondie, Soft Cell, Bananarama, Erasure, Bon Jovi plus many more.
The band's equipment is fully PAT tested and the band also holds public liability insurance of up to £10,000,000.
Rubix are one of the finest 80's party bands available and are ideal for many different events including corporate parties, hotel party nights, themed events, weddings, holiday parks, universities and private parties.

Standard line up for the 80's party band Rubix is a 4 piece band. Line up includes 2 x female vocalists, 1 x male guitarist/vocalist and 1 x male keyboard/vocalist.

Performance Times
As standard, Rubix perform 1 x 60 mins, 1 x 75 mins or 2 x 45 mins sets but this is often flexible and negotiable.
Booking Options
Rubix are also available as a 5 piece band. This is the standard 4 piece band plus a drummer.
Rubix are also available as a duo featuring just the girls.
Rubix can also provide you with pre-show, interval and post-show background party music.
The band also performs as Abba Tribute Band 'Abba Magic'. This can be combined with Rubix for two shows in one night.
Vocalists from Rubix/Abba Magic are also available as the Abba Tribute Duo 'Abba Divine'.
Location
